Simply put, Kenya is the best wildlife viewing destination in Africa.
Visitors from all over the world are drawn there by its essence. Kenya boasts a wealth of animal and bird life and is the tribal home to 40 different ethnic groups, many still living exactly as their ancestors did thousands of years ago. Kenya straddles the Equator. It’s geography ranges from snow-capped Mt. Kenya (the second highest mountain in Africa) to lush tropical rain-forests and golden beach sands at the Indian Ocean.
This land of contrasts has earned the epitaph ‘the cradle of mankind’ for the discovery of archaeological evidence of the earliest origins of mankind. With 300 miles of Indian Ocean coastline and a coral fringe reef, one can explore its balmy waters by dhow, yacht or powerboat. Here, you’ll see a striking mix of people and cultures together with beautiful ancient architecture contrasting with the modern-day bustle of the 21st century.
